SUMMARY:PVVET Examination After The HCRA's Technician Course
DESCRIPTION:The PVVET will be hosting an examination on Tuesday\, February 22nd at the Holyoke Medical Center’s Auxiliary Conference Center following the Hampden County Radio Assoication’s technician class license course. \nThe examination will be open to the general public and we will be testing for all Amateur Radio Licenses free of charge. Those wishing to take an exam must obtain a FCC registration number and pre-register. Both can be done here. It only takes a couple minutes. \nDuring registration\, make sure to put a valid e-mail address and phone number in case of any cancellations \nDoors open at 7:00pm and examinations will start once all have checked in. \nPlease refer to our examination information for what to bring and exam details. Upgrades must bring a signed photocopy of their license that will be given to the team. \nIt’s suggested that candidates bring writing utensils and a basic calculator. Smart phones or devices capable of mass storage can not be used as a calculator. We ask that all electronic devices to be turned off or silenced during the exam. \nParking is available from Center Street. Please do not park in the Kay Harvey hairdressing academy’s parking lot. \nThe check-in process will start at 5:30pm\, exam starts at 6pm. Examinations will promptly end after the last examination has processed or at 8:30pm. Whichever comes first \nHope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:The PVVET will be holding an examination after the amateur radio classes at the Greenfield Community College’s East Buidling (Room TBD) \n \nPlease note the classes and the examination session are separate. Any possible fees are related to the classroom portion. The PVVET does not charge for examinations (GCC Website and Course page has old information). The public is welcome to attend the examination for free. \nFor information about amateur radio class\, CLICK HERE\nFor information about Franklin County Amateur Radio Club (FCARC)\, CLICK HERE \nCandidates must obtain a FCC registration number (FRN) and pre-register at our website prior to the date of the examination. Examinations are free of charge. \nWe require that all applicants must pre-register on the PVVET website prior to the day of the examination.
